June 27, 1973. Pictures of the razing of 9th Ave "EP". Taken from 663 Greenwich St. This block of houses facing " were razed 1953 to build St. Luke's School. The old Federal style houses belonged to Trinity Church. Part of the block of houses around landmarks St. Luke's Chapel, have been restored on Hudson + Barrows Sts.) for clergy, staff and parish were 1,000,000 spent on the restorations.) Mrs. Gilbert L. Soye. Note: We lived in this beautiful house 663 Greenwich St. for 18 years. The bulbs & plants from our garden were trucked to Trinity Churchyard, & many have thrived year by year. I planted the willow tree & 2 silk trees (Morus) which are now in Trinity Churchyard.
