Queens: 4th Street - 27th Avenue

4th Street, east side, at 27th Avenue. The house on the right is at the S.E. corner of the intersection and is on the former property of the Astoria Presbyterian Church, whose place of worship stood in rear of the house. The house to the left, at the N.E. corner, with the cupola, was the house of J. Laroque in 1873. The third house was owned by L. J. White in 1873. These houses do not appear in Beers's 1873 atlas of Long Island; the authority for the above data being E. L. Armbruster. View 2 shows the S.E. corner house. View 1: Eugene L.
