Queens: Flushing Meadow Park - [Mill Pond.]

Flushing Meadow Park (Queens): Viewing north across the meadows and Mill Pond, at the eastern extremity of the park, toward a small community clustered around Willow Street and Fowler Avenue, seen from Rodman Street at North Hempstead Turnpike. This area later became part of the main exposition center of the New York World's Fair of 1939-40. The Court of Peace and the Foreign Zone were constructed here. 1925 Views 1,2 Eugene L.
