Manhattan: Wall Street - Nassau Street

Old Sub-Treasury building situated at Wall and Nassau Streets, New York City. In front the steps to building are broken by pedistal on which is erected Ward's hero sized bronze statue of George Washington. The statue was unveiled November 26, 1883, following evacuation Day. On the same site, Washington took his oath of office as the President of the United States. April 30, 1789.
