Manhattan: Madison Avenue - 41st Street (East)

Madison Avenue, north from E. 41st Street. View 1 is inclusive, showing both sides of this arterial thoroughfare. From left to right appears, the Carbon Carbide Building (S. W. corner of 42nd St.), the Hotel Manhattan (which subsequently became the National City Building-N. W. corner), St. Bartholomew's P. E. Church (S. W. corner of 44th St.), The Brooks Bros. Building (N. W. corner), the Ritz-Carlton Hotel (46th to 47th Streets) and the Hotel Biltmore (east side, from 43rd to 44th Streets). Views 2 and 3 are limited to the west frontage between 41st and 42nd Streets. The modern structure at the right is the new Carbon Carbide Building at 42nd St. This is to the left of View 1.
