11th Street (formerly Hammond Street), at and adjoining the S.W. corner of Bleecker Street, showing 286 to about 270 West 11th Street. Bleecker Street is another old Village street which, like 4th Street, has long ago taken the name of an East Side cross-street of which it happened to form a continuation. May 20, 1933. P. L. Sperr.
