Manhattan: 42nd Street (West) - Between 5th and 6th Avenues.

These photos were taken from: 65 W. 39th Street, at the N. E. corner of Sixth Avenue, (general view northeastward). They show: Two views across the eastern end of Bryant Park and the rear of the New York Public Library towards the Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street intersection. To the left, on the latter thoroughfare, is a low building occupied by the Stern Brothers Department Store, the 18 story Aeolian Building and the mammoth Salmon Tower Building. To the right of the latter are, the Lefcourt National Building and the Grand Central Building February 28, 1930 Views: 1 and 2
