A general view eastward from the Y.M.C.A. Building, No. 55 Hanson Place, between Fort Greene and South Elliott Places, showing in the foreground Fulton Street and the Elevated structure thereon, beyond it is the steeple of the Lafayette Ave. Presbyterian Church at the S.E. corner of South Oxford Street and Lafayette Ave. In the background is the Masonic Temple (colonnaded) at the N.E. corner of Lafayette and Clermont Aves., beyond and partially seen is the Cathedral Chapel of the Queen of all Saints (R.C.). At the left background is the Williamsburg Bridge. This part of Brooklyn is known as the Hill section. June 1926. Brown Brothers.
