Sixth Avenue, at West 50th Street, showing the tracks and the uptown station of the "El", prior to demolition. These photographs are taken from the downtown platform and feature the opposite side. Buildings forming the background are on the east side of this thoroughfare and extend northward. The Radio City Music Hall is in the R.K.O. Building which occupies the 50th-51st Street frontage.
