Manhattan: Park Avenue - 35th Street

Park Avenue, west side, from 35th Street, to a point between 36th and 37th Streets. On the N. W. corner of 35th Street, where the old Church of the Covenant stood from 1865 to 1895, is shown the house occupied by the Women's City Club. Behind it towers the new building at 10 East 40th Street. The dominant No. 10 East 40th Street Building (erected 1928) partly obscures the newer No. 500-Fifth Avenue Building. To the right appears the southerly side of the recently constructed Union League Club. This building is at the S. W. corner of Park Avenue and East 37th Street and was erected in 1930. Upon this site will rise a tall apartment building. The five-story affair at the left will not be included.
