(1) Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel: Meat being broiled over charcoal, at a stand on 114th Street opposite the N.W. corner of Pleasant Avenue. Part of the Standard Gas Light plant, which in a few years will be demolished, is shown in the background. July 16, 1929 P.L.
