Manhattan: Broadway - Wall Street

(1) Broadway, east side, at Wall Street, showing under demolition Nos. 86-84, 82 and 80 Broadway, at, adjoining and south of the S.E. corner of Wall Street. These in conjunction with adjoining property formed the site of the present (1937) 50-story Irving Trust Building, known as No. 1 Wall Street. This view is photographed in an eastward direction on Rector Street and shows on the left, the southern edge of Trinity Cemetery, across which appears the 11-story First National Bank, No. 90-94 Broadway, at the N.E. corner of Wall Street. This was demolished and improved with a 21-story structure slightly later. January 11, 1929. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
