Manhattan: 12th Avenue - 34th Street

12th Avenue, at the N. E. corner of W. 34th Street and northeastward. Shown at the corner is a diner under the New York Central Railroad's elevated roadbed. View 2 is the area that adjoins this to the north, showing the yards there. Incidently this site was formerly the rear entrance to that V shaped row of structures that constituted the old Manhattan Market of 1871. This was completely removed in 1936.
