Manhattan: 34th Street (West) - 12th Avenue
West 34th Street, east from a point east of Twelfth Avenue, showing this thoroughfare being carried by a steel ramp over the railroad yards. This, in conjunction with a similar arrangement for Eleventh Avenue, constituted a major feature in the rehabilitation of this area under the joint auspices of the City and the Company in the furtherance of the West Side Improvement Project.
