Queens: Broadway - 51st Avenue

Broadway, south from 51st Avenue. On the extreme right is a portion of St. James Protestant Episcopal Chapel and beyond it is a local firehouse (building with bell tower). On the left is the cylindrical-turreted 110th Police Precinct and courthouse, formerly the Town Hall, built in 1891. The building with the watch tower was known as the Walter Building, having been owned by one Schneller in 1891. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection 1922
