Manhattan: 6th Avenue - 19th Street (West)

Sixth Avenue, east side, north from West 19th Street. Appearing progressively are the former Alexander and Cammeyer Buildings, the Protestant Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion, the Masonic Temple building and the Hotel McAlpin. Towering above the church is the dominant Empire State Building. View 2 is the same area photographed immediately following the demolition of the old 6th Avenue "EL" structure.
