Carl Schurz Park. A view of the front of Gracie Mansion that faces the East River. This area was once known as Hoorns Hook, as its first owner, Siebert Classon, came from Hoorn, Holland. Prior to the present occupancy by the Museum of the City of New York, its last owner was a Babcock, in 1896. This set consists of four views, all more or less similar. May 1925. Eugene L.
