Queens: Grand Central Parkwa - Roosevelt Avenue

Flushing Meadow Park (Queens): Southeastward across the northern part of the park, toward the subway "El" on Roosevelt Avenue, from Northern Boulevard and 113th Street. This area was developed into an expansive automobile parking space for visitors to the New York World's Fair of 1939-40. A network of highways was also constructed to serve the millions who came to see the Fair.
