Queens: Flushing Meadow Park - [New York World's Fair of 1939-40.]

Flushing Meadow Park (Queens): Shown, in a set of three views, is the monumental George Washington by the sculptor James Earle Fraser, and a group of small figures called "The Moods of Time," by Paul Manship. The Washington statue stands at the west end of Constitution Mall, is sixty-five feet high and includes a fifteen-foot base. "The Moods of Time" depict morning, day, evening, and night.
