Queens: 63rd Road - 99th Street
63rd Road (formerly North Hempstead Plank Road) south side, at about 120 feet east of 99th Street. The house formerly stood on the south side of North Hempstead Plank Road west of 102nd Street. This set of 4 views shows the J. Tompkins farmhouse formerly known as 64 Old Mill Road. J. Tompkins, 1852; A Backus, 1860-1873; M. S. Lever, 1891; Dr. Lever, 1896; and Mrs. Lever in 1909 were owners of this property. The house was demolished in May 1926. Some of the outbuilding were still standing on the north side of 63rd Drive about 120 feet east of 99th Street in 1927. This set shows different angles of the house now going to ruin.
