Queens: 63rd Road - 99th Street

63rd Road, south side, just east of 99th Street, showing the old J. Tompkins farmhouse. Tompkins was the owner in 1852; A. Backus in 1860-73; and M. E. Lever in 1891. 63rd Road is the old North Hempstead Plank Road that led from Newtown to Flushing. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection April, 1923
