Manhattan: Wall Street - Nassau Street
Wall Street, adjoining the N. E. corner of Nassau Street, showing the old U. S. Assay Office occupying this site. It was demolished in 1916 and portions removed to the American wing of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. A new building housing the Assay Office was erected on South Street, at Old Slip.
