51st Avenue (foreground), north side, between 21st Street and 11th Street, viewing northeastward toward the 49th Avenue viaduct over the Long Island Railroad tracks. This area was later made part of a new highway system feeding the Queens-Midtown Tunnel. The tall building is the Queens Borough Hall on 21st Street; the Queensboro Terminal garage is on 50th Avenue.
