Manhattan: West Broadway - Canal Street

West Broadway, west side, north from a point (St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church Hall), between Canal and Grand Streets, showing an elevated station at the latter point. The one (---) structure seen in the foreground is at the S.W. corner, while across the roof of same, appears a five story tenement, No. 50-52 Grand Street at the N.W. corner. The elevated line overshadowing this thoroughfare is the Sixth Ave. system. May 7, 1938.
