Manhattan: Lexington Avenue - 37th Street (East)
Lexington Avenue (right), at the N.W. corner of East 37th Street, showing a group of houses that are to be replaced by a modern apartment building. Same being the 3-structures (No's 296 to 300) forming the corner plot of 60x90, according to a report listed in the New York Times of March 9, 1938. This new structure will be 14-stories high and contain 94 suites. This is under construction in March, 1940 and will be known as Lindley House. March, 1938 George D. Chinn
