Manhattan: Pleasant Avenue - 114th Street (East)

Pleasant Avenue, east side, between East 114th and 116th Streets, showing the new site for the Benjamin Franklin High School under preparation. This $3,500,000 structure is to seat 3285 students. It will be erected in the form of a double E and front onto the East River Drive. Individually the photographer gives the locations as, northward from the new East River Drive and 114th Street in No. 1; a demolition at Pleasant Avenue and 115th Street in No. 2; and another demolition at the S.
