Manhattan: Riverside Drive - 165th Street

Riverside Drive (buildings fronting thereon), south from about West 172nd (left) to 160th (right) Streets, showing in the center, thereon the old buildings of the New York Institution for the Deaf. The modern structures to the north of same are units of Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. In the foreground is the southern portion of Fort Washington Park with a court and club (building, left foreground) therein. Paralleling the North River edge are the tracks of the New York Central Railroad. The photographers vantage point is the new George Washington Bridge and he is viewing in a southeastward direction.
