Manhattan: Pleasant Avenue - 122nd Street
(1) 410, 412, 414, 416-18 Pleasant Avenue at S.E. corner of 122nd Street. 416-18, the plant of the Pleasant Paper Company, was built shortly prior to 1930, replacing two three-story frame houses which occupied the site since the 1860's. The remaining frame house is shown at 414. "The Pleasant" is a five-story apartment house erected around 1890; and 410, the brownstone house with the stoop, is older than that. September 19, 1934. P.
