General view - 5th Avenue - West.

350 Fifth Avenue, (Empire State Building), west side, W. 34th to 33rd Streets. (general view northward). A set of three views up Manhattan towards Central Park with the East River and the Hudson River on the right and left respectively. Fifth Avenue is in the right center continuing northward to form the easterly margin of Central Park. The prominent structure on this thoroughfare at its N. W. - 42nd Street corner is the 500 Fifth Avenue Building. Preceding same is the low New York Public Library Building with Bryant Park to the rear. Note the Sixth Avenue "El" at that point.
