Manhattan: Gansevoort Street - Greenwich Street

46-56 Gansevoort Street, at, adjoining and west of the S.W. corner of Greenwich Street, as seen from under the Ninth Ave. Elevated. On the right is shown No. 3 Ninth Ave., at the N.W. corner of Gansevoort Street. July 7, 1933. P. L. Sperr. The New York Times of July 9, 1938 reports that the corner buildings numbered 46-50 Gansevoort Street and 842-6 Greenwich Street, forming a plot 92.9 x 69.2 will be improved with a one and two story structure for offices and storage by the owner, the Spanish-American Mercantile Co. Inc. at a cost of $27,000; Charles H. Stadler, Engineer.
