Brooklyn: Hamilton Avenue - 14th Street

Hamilton Avenue, east side, between 14th Street and the Gowanus Canal, showing the M. Schneider and Sons soap factory after a fire destroyed the interior. Views 2 & 3 show the same section of the avenue after the soap factory and other buildings were torn down and construction begun on the widening of the avenue as Brooklyn's northerly link in the Belt Parkway system of highways.
