Manhattan: West Broadway - 3rd Street (West)

553, 557, 563 West Broadway, adjoining the S.E. corner of West 3rd Street. The garage at the right was built since 1922, replacing the old houses 551, 553, 555 (formerly 21, 19, 17 South Fifth Avenue). The older Black Cat Restaurant ("Au Chat Noir"), was in No. 551. February 19, 1932. P. L. Sperr.
