Manhattan: West Broadway - 3rd Street (West)

West Broadway, north from a point (No. 557) slightly south of West 3rd Street and across same to Washington Square. The "Black Cat," a night club, is at No. 557 West Broadway and adjoins the 2 1/2-story structure at the S.E. corner. View No. 3 shows this feature solely. In the background of View 1 appears the distinctive apartment dwelling, No. 1 Fifth Avenue, at the S.E. corner of East 8th Street.
