Manhattan: Madison Avenue - 26th Street (East)

Madison Avenue, east side, north from and including 26th Street. At the extreme right is the former Lawrence Jerome residence, now the Manhattan Club, which will still stand in 1935. Beyond it is the second Madison Square Garden (1889-1925). The Madison Avenue porticos on the Garden are being removed to permit the widening of Madison Avenue. August 13, 1924. Eugene L. Armbruster.
