Manhattan: 34th Street (West) - 7th Avenue

34th Street, west from 237 West 34th, north side, west of Seventh Avenue. Between the West Side Bank (later taken over by the Manufacturers' Trust Company), on the N.W. corner of Eighth Avenue, and the Manhattan Opera House, may be seen the tower of the abandoned Thirty-Fourth Street [Dutch] Reformed Church. Around 1927 this and the bank building will be demolished for the site of the Hotel New Yorker. 1920. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
