Riverside Drive, north from but not including Plaza Lafayette (West 181st Street). On the extreme right appear the stone wall and ornamental columns of the estate of Dr. Charles V. Paterno, which has its entrance on Northern Ave. This wall was built in about 1920. There is a capacious residence built on the style of an ancient Italian castle and many greenhouses, which the doctor maintains as a hobby. December 28, 1934. Irving Fitterman.
