Queens: 162nd Street - Jamaica Avenue

162nd St. (formerly 24-26 Union Ave.) east side, north of Jamaica Ave., showing in a set of 4 views the Hewlett Creed Tavern. This building was moved in 1858 when Union Ave. was extended into this area. Other occupants were the Bonnie Briar Tea Room in 1924 and the Roosevelt Restaurant in 1934.
