Richmond: Arthur Kill Road - Center Street

Arthur Kill Road, north side, adjoining (to the west) Center Street, showing the Vorleezer House, reputed to be one of the oldest Dutch frame buildings in New York. It is believed to have been erected before 1696 and is the oldest known elementary school building in the United States and the first church on Staten Island.
