Manhattan: Madison Avenue - 26th Street (East)

Old Madison Avenue. The building with the ornate grilled iron balconies, was originally the home of Lawrence (Larry) Jerome, the father of Mr. Travers Jerome. In 1933 the home of the Manhattan Club. The building on North East corner was the former Madison Square Garden between E. 26th and 27th Streets. It was replaced, in 1890 by the present structure.
