33rd Street, from Fifth to Sixth Avenues, inclusive, showing the Waldorf Hotel, built on the site of the residence of William Waldorf Astor. Around 1895 the adjoining house, the residence of John Jacob Astor, will be torn down and the Astoria built, the two hotels forming the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. About 1893. Brown Brothers.
