Manhattan: Whitehall Street - South Street

Whitehall Street, north from South Street (right, not shown). This locale is known as South Ferry (the photographer's vantage point), and Battery Park and State St. are on the left. In the center is the old Produce Exchange between Water and Pearl Streets. This site was later improved with the formidable Army Building. Across the roof appears the spire of Trinity Church, while to the right is the top St. Paul's Chapel. 1860's Gift of Urbrock Collection
