East 25th Street, north side, east from Madison to Fourth Aves., as viewed across an empty lot at the S.E. corner of Madison Ave. upon which stood the Madison Ave. Building and others. Prominently shown is the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court occupying a site numbered 27 Madison Ave., but having its entrance on 25th Street. This set consists of 2 views; No. 2 of which is slightly further eastward to show a complete view of a 16-story loft building, No. 53-59 East 25th Street, that adjoins the N.W. corner of Fourth Ave. November 26, 1937.
