Manhattan: York Avenue - 67th Street

York Avenue (Avenue A), west side, from 67th to 68th Streets, showing a skating rink and the old cigar factory, on the S.W. corner of 68th Street, where Robt. Burns cigars used to be made. It was built around 1905, and now belongs to Seidenberg and Company. It is shortly to be demolished, and around the same time the rink will be converted into tennis courts. As late as 1902 these plots were occupied by a stone yard, probably belonging to the B. & G. Williams stone yard across the Avenue. February 13, 1928. P. L. Sperr.
