Manhattan: 14th Street (West) - 8th Avenue

309-11 (Old No. 187-89 West 14th Street north side, west of Eighth Avenue, a double house probably built around 1850; it is on the maps as early as 1852. 14th Street has always been numbered east and west from Fifth Avenue, but originally it was not the custom to start with a fresh hundred at each numbered avenue.
