Manhattan: 10th Avenue - 20th Street (West)

Tenth Avenue, west side, north from West 20th to 21st Streets. Note at the extreme right, the tenement at the N. W. corner of 21st Street. This was demolished and the new Roman Catholic Church of the Guardian Angel erected there. This organization was formerly located at No. 511-5 W. 23rd Street. Demolition of their church there, for the new New York Central Railroad elevated roadbed, necessitated this new structure. March 3, 1929 July 28, 1931 P. L. Sperr
