Manhattan: Wall Street - Nassau Street

(1) Wall Street, north side, adjoining and east of the N.E. corner of Nassau Street. May 12, 1929. P. L. Sperr. (2) The same, from a view point slightly further westward and showing a more inclusive view. The 4-story structure on the left is the U.S. Assay Office, No. 30-32 and adjoins the U.S. Sub Treasury (at the corner). Under demolition are Nos. 34-36 (former Gallatin National Bank) and 38, which in conjunction with the balance of buildings on this block, will form the 70-storied Bank of Manhattan Building. On the right appears the entrance to J.P. Morgan and Co. Building, at the S.E. corner of Broad and Wall Streets. P. L. Sperr.
