Manhattan: 17th Street - 9th Avenue

(1) 17th Street at N.W. corner of Ninth Avenue and west on north side. The frame houses were built not later than 1879, as was also Engine House No. 3, 417 West 17th Street, the three-story brick building in left centre. The latter is the oldest brick building in the block. April 30, 1933. P. L. Sperr. (2) No's 409 to 419, just west of Ninth Avenue.
