Manhattan: 14th Street - 8th Avenue

(1) 14th Street, east from Eighth Avenue, view from the twenty-two story Lawyer's Trust Company Building, favoring the south side. On the south side, at 214-16 West 14th Street, west of Seventh Avenue, stands the newer Daggett & Randall Building, erected around 1918, eight stories tall. Then comes a rear view of the newly completed twenty-story apartment house on Seventh Avenue adjoining the S.W. corner of 14th Street, the twelve-story loft building on the S.E corner, erected a little prior to 1920, and the brand new Salvation Army Building aat 120 West 14th Street. On the S.E. corner of Eighth Avenue is Carson's 14th Street Store, built there after R. H. Macy & Company moved up to 34th Street. June 16, 1931. P. L.
