Manhattan: 6th Avenue - 36th Avenue

Sixth Avenue (across foreground), and vicinity, east side, from W. 35th (right) to 36th (left) Streets, as viewed north-eastward from Macy's Department Store. This area, a part of the former "Satans Circus" is now a portion of Manhattan vast garment center and contains numerous loft and factory structures. Note Keen's Chop House still remaining on the south side of 36th Street, to the east of the Avenue. In the background, dominating the skyline, is the office building, "No. 10 East 40th Street".
