Manhattan: 4th Avenue - 22nd Street (East)

Fourth Avenue (left), west side, south from East 23rd to 22nd Street's, showing the massive Y. M. C. A., and its adjoining Fourth Avenue Presbyterian Church. The latter is at the N. W. corner of 22nd Street. In 1892, the Bank for Savings will commence building operations at the dark area to the left (S. W. corner). The south side of 23rd Street is on the right, extending westward to Broadway and Fifth Avenue. The photographers vantage point is in side of the railing around the Packard School for Business.
